Norway is in my Blood and DNA! I was extremely envious of the British Army troops when I was stationed in Germany 1984 - 87, who had to Ski in Norway for 3 months at time. Yet at the time I had to teach Physics for the Service Children’s Schools in the classroom.
The Wrong Time
My life plan took other turns the Universe was not ready to allow me to know the truth.
Following a work related, unexpected cruise to Iceland (1995), I was “volunteered” for the Ski school “Classe de Neige“ (1998 - 2000). Our 25 pupils joined 75 French pupils for 2 weeks of lessons and skiing in the Alps.
I taught myself to ski that first year of 1998. My daughter was part of the class aged 10 and I received my badge and certificate together with other 100 pupils!
The Right Time
The following year 1999 I was 45 years of age, in 1942 Kurt Daluege was 45! I was in France and Daluege was in Norway - perfect Sychroncity to the month and my age. My daughter was with party and both received same silver snowflake badges.
Many skiing adventures followed and in 2005 - 06 we skied at Hemsedal, Norway. It was all so familiar!!!!
Josef Antonius Heinrich Terboven (23 May 1898 – 8 May 1945) was a Nazi leader, best known as the Reichskommissar for Norway during the German occupation of Norway and the Quisling regime.
